Musician/Host Jason Wilber interviews singer/songwriter Big Kenny Alphin. Included songs from Big Kenny's new album "The Quiet Times of a Rock N' Roll Farm Boy". Big Kenny found fame as a songwriter in Nashville, and rose to stardon in the duo "Big and Rich", who were hugely commercially succesful producing four straight Top 40 Country hits like "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)", "Comin' to Your City", "8th of November", and "Lost in the Moment ". As well as charting with solo hits, such as "Long After I'm Gone".
Topics discussed include: Big Kenny's early memories of music and influences, His movement from participating in his dad's business, to moving blindly to Nashville, becoming a songwriter with the "MuzikMafia", and how he got started performing.
